Level 1 IT Support Engineer / Technician

IT Strategic have delivered IT support and Managed Services for more than 10 years and have taken delight in working with a diverse range of customers. We enjoy working closely with clients and forming long term business relationships which allows us to work as a trusted partner to establish requirements, match them with appropriate technology and provide ongoing monitoring and management to extract maximum value.

Employment: We have an immediate need for a Grad/Level 1 Helpdesk Engineer. The role will be for a fixed term of 12 months on a full time basis. However, it is highly likely the role will become permanent after that time.

The role will see you responding to client requests for IT Support which you will deliver via phone or on site visits. Good communication skills are important, the ability to translate technical information to clients is essential.

Should you apply for this position you will display your capacity to take responsibility for a task from start to end. This position requires you to have the ability to prioritise work, manage your workload (sometimes in consultation with management), work with other team members & occasionally take the lead on things.

We’re looking for a skilled, conscientious, helpful sort who’s happy to provide support to clients and other employees, and is happy to receive support in kind.

Applicants may have varying experience/knowledge in terms of Windows / Linux / macOS. Many of our clients require Windows expertise – though mixed environments of Linux/macOS are common.
